Goro Sky Tower was built in 1995.
It offers a panoramic view of the sea of clouds from October to February, as well as of the navigational vessels of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and luxury cruise ships.
Goro-dake, located almost in the center of Maizuru and rising 301 meters above sea level,
The 50-meter-high observation tower rises in Gorogadake Park, which stretches to the summit of the mountain.
From the observation deck, 325 meters above sea level, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Maizuru Bay and the city of Maizuru along its beautiful rias coastline.
The view from here was selected as the first place in the “Kinki 100 Sceneries.
